Our Long Prairie plant is located ½ mile west of U.S. Hwy. 71 just south of Long Prairie. Worms Ready Mix is currently installing a computer-operated concrete batching system at the plant. The new system will improve batching speed, efficiency and accuracy in order to provide the highest quality ready-mix concrete.

Kyle Zellgert is the plant's manager and dispatcher. Three to five ready-mix trucks are usually dispatched out of Long Prairie. Worms Ready Mix also operates a concrete conveyor truck. The conveyor can place concrete up to 40' from the truck.

Concrete products are stocked at the plant as well:

reinforcing steel,
wire mesh,
expansion joint,
concrete sealers,
form oil.

The plant's staff is on hand to help with these products.

From this plant we service the cities of Long Prairie, Browerville, Clarissa, Eagle Bend, Little Sauk and Grey Eagle, as well as the Lake Osakis, Swan Lake, Lake Charlotte and Horseshoe Lake areas. See a map of our locations.
