Worms Ready Mix has been delivering concrete out of New Munich since 1960. The original plant was located along the Soo Railroad Line on County Road 30. In July of 1999 a new state-of-the-art plant was opened along County Road 12 at the south edge of the New Munich city limits.

With the new plant, Worms Ready Mix assures prompt service and quality ready-mix concrete. A computer batching system is installed in the plant, improving efficiency and safety and eliminating human error.

Rick Lemm is the plant's full-time manager and dispatcher. Six to eight ready-mix trucks are normally dispatched out of New Munich. Worms Ready Mix also employs a concrete conveyor truck. The conveyor can place concrete up to 40' from the truck.

We also deliver mason sand, granite chips, ¾" rock, 1 ¼" rock, pea rock, concrete sand and class 5 from our New Munich plant.

The New Munich plant stocks many products needed to complete any concrete job:
  • reinforcing steel,
  • wire mesh,
  • expansion joint,
  • concrete sealers,
  • form oil,
  • concrete and mortar mixes,
  • many other concrete products.
